Founded: Founded in New Hampshire, 1940; approved in Quebec, Canada, as a secular institute of diocesan right, December 8, 1959.
Purpose: To achieve perfection through the effective practice in the world of the three evangelical counsels of perfection and by making the promise to dedicate oneself totally to the particular apostolate of the institute.
