Institute of the Heart of Jesus Women
Founded: Foundation stems from the Institute of the Heart for laywomen, founded in France in 1791. Approved as secular institute of pontifical right on April 4, 1999.
Purpose: To help laywomen live the Gospel radically in the modern world by means of the evangelical counsels, to engage in group discernment and various forms of prayer.
