Founded: In Milan, Italy, November 17, 1920, under the auspices of Cardinal Andrew Ferrare; approved as a secular institute of pontifical right, 1960.

 

Purpose: To practice of evangelical counsels in the expression of consecration to God. Professional work becomes the main means of the apostolate.
