Holy Spirit Community
(Opus Spiritus Sancti)
MembershipWomen
Founded Founded in Germany by Father Bendel, 1951, as external sisters in an apostolic life community; approved as an independent association of the faithful in 1975. In 1985, the community was established in the United States.
Purpose To live an Easter-Pentecost spirituality with "God all in all" as the guiding motto and to be a Christian presence in the world.

We are dedicated to the Holy Spirit’s work of renewal in the Church and in the world, sharing an Easter-Pentecost spirituality with other Opus Spiritus Sancti communities.  We have as both a vision and a goal Paul’s words to the Corinthians "that God may be all in all."
