Volunteers with Don Bosco
MembershipMen
FoundedThe Volunteers with Don Bosco were founded in Rome on September 12, 1994, by Fr. Egidio Vigaṇ, then Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, when he brought together a small group of young men from Venezuela, Paraguay, Malta and Italy. It became an association of the faithful in 1998.
PurposeMembers draw inspiration from the charism of St. John Bosco. They strive to imitate his pastoral style and follow Christ in a radical manner through consecration in secular life. Their aim is to build a better society following the Gospel and living the Salesian Spirit.
